Hydrant
Water all around, but not a drop to drink. Sound familiar? No longer -- Hydrant is a water bottle that can attach to fire hydrants. Comprised of hard ABS plastic and an internal flexible silicone adapter that can fit onto any fire hydrant spray cap in New York City, Hydrant utilizes the already existing infrastructure of the city's 170,000 fire hydrants to create public access points for water. A screw-on cap is situated at the top of the bottle for portable drinking use, as well as three additional caps covering hose valves around its shaft. These extra valves allow Hydrant to take advantage of a continuous flow of water to transform itself from a bottle into a drinking fountain, a means for attaching a hose to garden or wash your car with, or even a filling station for dog bowls. The bottle is also fit with a robust handle, making it a cinch to carry despite its half gallon capacity. Hydrant isn't just any water bottle, it's an opportunity to put water back into the hands of the people.
